If you’re wondering what makes our tours so different from other food tours….
THEN YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!
Introducing
Meet the happy little hand. She is our buddy, our mascot, or better yet, she represents everything we do with our vegan food tours. Literally (eating with your hands) and figuratively (pointing the way to a plant-based future). But tap us especially, because this jolly woman has no name yet. Can you give us a hand? Send your idea for a name to info@veganfoodtour.nl. The inventor of the new name will receive 2 tickets to a tour of their choice as a gift!
This is what we do it for
A livable planet with happy animals and people! Too good to be true? We don’t think so. Eating less meat and dairy creates more nature, space to relax, a better climate, more biodiversity and justice AND it’s also good for the economy and our health. Who wouldn’t want that?
The problem
The way we eat now is destroying more than we care to. It takes this:
The solution
If we stop using animals for our food, we save a lot ofCO2, water, land and animal life. See:
Powered by plants
You’ve probably noticed by now…. We have quite big ambitions. The whole world powered by plants. We don’t turn our hand to that. With our vegan food tours, we let you taste, hear and see what is possible if you choose to eat plant-based. Well, we don’t do that “let taste” ourselves. To that end, we are joining forces with inspiring entrepreneurs who dare to swim against the current. They prepare all that fantastic, colorful and, above all, tasty food for you.
IMPACT REPORT 2023
You may be thinking, “What is a startup like this doing with an impact report? We thought; why wait until we have our own coffee machine, staff and a company bike? We are entrepreneurs with a mission and big ambitions. If we want to live up to them, we had better start right away. This impact report is our way of being transparent about what we do and how we contribute to positive change for animals, people and the planet. Enjoy reading!
Food tours for everyone
We’re doing pretty well, if we do say so ourselves. But there’s one more thing we’re stuck with. A lot of people can’t join our vegan food tours. And we don’t think that’s fair! That’s why we put 1 euro from every ticket sold into a piggy bank. With that money, we organize free tours for people who also deserve a nice outing. Think of the lonely elderly, the blind and visually impaired, New Netherlanders, food bank clients and more!
